In the courtroom, the Connecticut personal injury lawyers of RisCassi & Davis, P.C. strive to educate juries about the evidence, with the models, enlargements, and expert testimony often necessary to understand a complex, technical case. When necessary, we advocate changes in the law to judges of the trial or appellate bench, and we seek to bring about change in the law for the betterment of our clients and others harmed by the wrongdoing of others.
During legislative sessions, our personal injury lawyers often in association with the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, strive to educate Connecticut legislators about needed changes in Connecticut law. In this way, we work to protect, preserve, and, hopefully, enhance the legal rights of victims. We have resisted changes in the law designed to limit the right of an injured person to a fair recovery.

At continuing legal education seminars, we strive to educate other personal injury lawyers in Connecticut and beyond, while simultaneously learning from their experiences.
In addition to attending professional seminars, many of us have served as program leaders or lecturers at conferences dealing with matters of interest to trial lawyers. Many of our Connecticut personal injury lawyers have published articles in the Connecticut Bar Journal regarding issues of tort law in Connecticut.
At the University of Connecticut School of Law, RisCassi & Davis, P.C. has sponsored mock trial competitions and donated funds for the William R. Davis Moot Courtroom, named in honor of our founding partner. Bill Davis, John Houlihan, and Andy Groher have all taught Trial Practice or other courses at the law school. Our attorneys have also served as guest lecturers or judges at trial and appellate advocacy competitions. We regularly hire law clerks from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
It is our hope that the William R. Davis Courtroom will encourage students to develop exemplary trial skills, so that they may continue our fight for justice and fairness as personal injury lawyers in Connecticut.
