Attorney Elisabeth Swanson has filed a medical malpractice lawsuit on behalf of an elderly Ellington woman against the Ellington Volunteer Ambulance Corps and the town. The lawsuit stems from an incident in January 2018 when EMTs failed to strap the woman onto a stretcher, which caused her to fall to the ground and suffer serious injuries while being transported from her home to an ambulance.
